A few weeks ago Shaymin was featured in Art of the Week but now we return to take a deep dive on how it is played. Shaymin is an exceptionally versatile card that can be paired with a bunch of different deck cores. We have seen it have success with Arceus VSTAR, Leafeon VMAX and Torterra! Adam runs through what makes this card a fun and practical choice in play.
Our art this week is Kakuna whose designs range from nostalgic to unique. We take a look at its Base Set card as well as som unique designs spanning 2 decades. It’s always fun when a Kanto Pokémon can be reinvigorated by some fresh and compelling designs.
A new Top Deck Academy video was released and Nekkra does an awesome job explaining the very popular Inteleion engine. WIth Inteleon becoming a staple in the current meta, it would be in your best interest to learn how it works! Consistency is key and Inteleon brings it in droves.
THe latest Pokémon Illustrator contest brings us some of the best Pokémon art that we have ever seen. The top 300 finalists would look right at home alongside any of the illustrators that we cover each week. We pick our favorites and can not wait to follow the conclusion of this contest.
